Hi Ben,
Sorry I could not come to your party yesterday afternoon. My family was cleaning our new house all day. I washed the windows, and my brother cleaned the floors.
We found a strange old box under the stairs. There were some old pictures and a small key inside. My father says the key opens the door on the roof.
Come to my house next Sunday. We can try the key and eat pizza together.

Houses Around the World
Houses around the world are not all the same. In cold places, people build thick walls and make small windows to keep the heat inside. Some roofs are very high, so the snow can slide off easily.
Near the sea, fishermen sometimes build their houses above the water. In hot places, many people sleep on the roof in summer.
People build houses in different ways, but whether they are rich or poor, they all want the same thing: a safe and warm room to come back to.
