Kangaroos live in Australia. They are famous for their strong legs. A kangaroo does not walk; it jumps. Some of them can jump very far and very fast.
A mother kangaroo has a pocket in front of her body. Her baby stays there and grows for about six months. It is warm and safe inside the pocket.
Zoos in Singapore and Taiwan also keep kangaroos. In Australia, drivers must pay attention at night, because a kangaroo can suddenly run in front of a car.
