A plane is much faster. It can fly from Taipei to Hong Kong in less than two hours. Large planes can also carry things, but the cost is high.
Therefore, people send letters and small things by plane, and heavy things by ship. Both of them help us sell things to other countries and buy things from far away.
船很慢，但仍然非常重要。我們買的東西中，每十樣就有九樣是靠船運送的。大船載著油、汽車、玉米，甚至甜甜圈橫越海洋。
飛機快得多。它可以在兩小時內從台北飛到香港。大型飛機也能載貨，但費用很高。
因此，人們用飛機寄信和小東西，用船運送重的東西。兩者都幫助我們把東西賣到其他國家，也買到遠方的商品。
